Transfer process involves two (2) steps:-
Deletion of the domain name registration for current Registrant
New registration of same domain name for New Registrant.
Only the Administrative Contact is allowed to submit the transfer request, using the correct userID and Password.
Please note that the new Registrant will be sent an invoice for the domain name registration for the period dated from the transfer date. Fees paid by the current Registrant are neither refundable nor transferable.
For 3LD categories (except .name.my),
These Domain Names can only be transferred to registered entities as stated in Supporting Documents.
To transfer:
The current Administrative Contact:
Must provide all details of the New Registrant in the Transfer Domain Name Form.
Will receive a notification e-mail from customercare@mynic.my within 2 working days after receiving New Registrant details.
Will receive e-mail from MYNIC that domain name has been deleted.
Domain name will be deleted (transfer) after 14 days from the date of the notification e-mail.
The new Administrative Contact:
Will receive a notification to register e-mail from MYNIC after the deletion of the domain name. (Refer point number iv. above)
Must furnish relevant Supporting Documents to MYNIC within 14 days. If the new Registrant does not wish to apply for the domain name, or does not complete the registration process in any way, the domain name will be made available to the public.
- For .name.my category.
You may transfer the domain name in the following conditions:
you had registered a domain name on behalf of a minor and
the minor turns 18 years of age.
To transfer (.name.my):
The current Administrative Contact
Must fill in the Transfer Domain Name Form. At this stage the current Registrant can view and update the new Registrant's details (such as new Registrant's display name, address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address and e-mail forwarding address), Technical and Billing Contact details and name server details.
Will receive a notification e-mail from customercare@mynic.my within 2 working days after receiving New Registrant details.
Will receive e-mail from MYNIC that domain name has been deleted.

You have an option either to transfer to individual (18 years age above) or to organisation.
